This training is an all-inclusive energy auditor training with emphasis on new residential construction and the HERS Rating process. You will learn how to use the diagnostic tools to find and correct problems in the building’s thermal envelope. This training incorporates information about how the Energy Star New Homes Program is operated both nationally and in the four Northwest States. The training is intended to prepare the participants to take the tests necessary to become a certified HERS Rater and Performance Tester for ducts in new construction.

You will be issued a Saturn Training Kit about a month prior to the date of the classroom training. This includes access to the Saturn Training curriculum on line, called the Study Hall. It is our expectation you will take full advantage of this opportunity. Each training segments will prepare you for your week long classroom and field training and gives you experience in taking timed exams. We will be monitoring the progression of these training segments.
