The Washington State University (WSU) Energy Program is searching for an Energy Engineer II to develop and deliver programs that support a wide range of distributed and onsite energy generation technologies and energy efficiency strategies, with a focus on industrial and large commercial customers. You may also contribute to significant projects or programs such as the Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership program and our Washington State technical assistance program for green hydrogen.
This role will also serve as a technical resource for other diverse projects within the Energy Program and contribute to or lead strategic relationship development, grant proposals, and funding initiatives to meet the evolving needs of regional stakeholders relating to energy. Additionally, this role will assist with project management, outcome tracking, reporting, and budget management to ensure successful stewardship of grants and contract funding.
