Biography
Pratik is an Energy Engineer 3 at the WSU Energy Program. He provides technical assistance and energy consulting services to industrial and public sector clients. He has over five years of experience in energy consulting, with work spanning energy efficiency, electrification studies, solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and wind resource assessments.
His previous work includes delivering energy consulting services to a range of public and private sector clients, including national laboratories, city and county governments, and large private organizations. He combines strong engineering fundamentals with advanced data analysis tools in Python and R to evaluate large energy datasets, model energy use patterns, and quantify the impacts of efficiency and electrification measures.
Pratik holds an M.S. in Energy Systems from the University of California, Davis, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on energy technologies from Kathmandu University.
