Welcome to Pratik Raj Khadka!

The WSU Energy Program is thrilled to welcome Pratik to our team as an Energy Engineer 3. Pratik brings over five years of energy consulting experience spanning energy efficiency, electrification studies, wind resource assessments, and solar PV and battery energy storage systems. He combines strong engineering fundamentals with advanced data analysis in Python and R to handle large energy datasets. In his new role, he will collaborate across multiple teams at the Energy Program to provide technical assistance to industrial and public sector clients on technologies such as Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hydrogen, industrial systems, and more. 

Pratik has delivered services to national laboratories, local governments, and large private organizations. His practical expertise is backed by an M.S. in Energy Systems from the University of California, Davis, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Kathmandu University.
