The WSU Energy Program’s Green Transportation Program (GTP) provides technical assistance to Tribes to support transportation electrification planning. This support includes identifying key opportunities for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure and ultimately helping to establish Tribal Transportation Electrification (TE) Action Plans for Tribes.

In recent years, the GTP provided technical assistance to three Tribes on the Olympic Peninsula. Supported by state funding and partner coordination, the team established TE Action Plans for each Tribe.

Here is an example of a TE plan template that can be used to jumpstart the process.
