Background

A new renewable energy incentive program for citizens and businesses of Washington passed the Washington State Legislature and was signed into law by the Governor in July 2017. Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5939 modifies tax incentives for renewable energy systems and provides guidance for recycling related components. The WSU Energy Program began administering the new incentive program on October 1, 2017.
